PM Basics (Beginners,
Advanced Beginners)
Tango Fundamentals for beginners: Posture, connection, walking,
the embrace and introduction to partnering skills, musicality
and basic figures such as caminata,
cruzada, contrapaso, corridas, ochos & molinete
(walk, cross, parallel and cross-systems, double time runs,
figure eights and turns).

PM Experienced Close Embrace (Intermediate/Advanced)
Session Topic: Divergence
& Asymmetry. Work with tensile &
oppositional forces, and asymmetry in figures & timing.
Pre-requisite: Close Embrace Fundamentals and 1-2 years
of social dance experience. |
5 THURSDAYS (5/13 - 6/10)

PM Advanced
Beginners (Adv. Beginners)
Refinement of fundamental
tango technique: partnering skills, musical rhythms and basic
figures of tango. Focus on transitions and improvisation
in creating dances. Pre-requisite: 2 or more Basic
series or equivalent.
8:00 PM Close Embrace
- Classic Figures & Turns (Intermed)
Dancing apilado in the style of Buenos Aires, with
figures appropriate for a social or crowded floor. Pre-requisite:
Close Embrace Fundamentals or equivalent.

One Series $75, Two Series

(Full-time Students: $55,
$100 respectively).
Please note: Make-ups
are available within the same session only.
(Attend a similar or more basic level class).
Registration fees are non-refundable.
Blue Tango reserves the right to cancel undersubscribed classes.
To
protect floors, please bring clean non-street shoes (suede or
leather bottom) or socks to class.
Allow extra time for travel & parking
during Red
Sox Games.

Red Sox will
play on the following Tuesdays (5/11, 6/1)
& Thursdays (5/20, 5/27 & 6/3).
Private
Lessions
Private lessons are invaluable for improving one's
dance because of their specificity and time efficiency.
Contact Hsueh-tze to schedule. Cancellation policy: 24-hour
notice is required to avoid penalty (except for medical emergencies).
