6 TUESDAYS  (4/15 - 5/20)

6:15 PM     BASICS                  (Beginners / Adv. Begin)
Fundamental technique for beginners and also more experienced dancers who wish to solidify partnering skills, musical rhythms and the basic figures of tango.

7:30 PM  INTERMEDIATE                 (Intermed)

Learn intermediate level figures and how to incorporate them into social dancing in both open and close embrace.  Find transitions to enhance your improvisational skills. Focus on
paradas, mordidas, barridas and turns.  Special Followers Technique for dynamic engagement.  Pre-requisite: 3 basic series or equivalent. 

8:45 PM   MILONGUERO NUEVO       (Advanced Intermed / Advanced)
Find innovative ways to add to your vocabulary while keeping the close connection to your partner. Incorporate nuevo tango elements and avant garde moves into close embrace!  This material is exquisite because it can be done even in the most crowded floor. Advance material includes alteration of direction, single axis turns, and some of the more unusual figures for dancing in close embrace.   Prerequisite: Two Close Embrace series or equivalent.



5 THURSDAYS  (4/17 - 5/15)

8:00 PM    CADENCE, PRESENCE & CLASSIC FIGURES 
(Buenos Aires Tango)
      (Intermed)
The milongueros of Buenos Aires step with special timing to the music.  Experience the cadence and presence that give a special quality to one's dance.   We will cover classic figures of tango, milonga and vals common to the milongas of Buenos Aires. (Recommended: Close Embrace Fundamentals.)

Register at first class.  Please come 10 minutes early.

SERIES   (5 or 6 Classes)
One Series   $90
Two Series   $165
(Full-time Students: $60 & $95 for 1 and 2 series, respectively)

Please note:  Make-ups are available within the same session only.
(Attend a similar or more basic level class).
Registration fees are non-refundable.

To protect floors, please bring clean non-street shoes (suede or leather bottom) or socks to class.
