TUESDAYS  (Studio 2)
7:00 PM  TANGO LAB: Creative Tools

Resources for how to keep one's dancing fresh. Tools for creative improvisation by varying timing, directional & force dynamics. Focus on leader & follower techniques to mirror, reverse, invert, revert, suspend, syncopate  $100

8:15 PM  TANGO VALS: Intermediate Figures
Surges, swirls and syncopated rhythms give the tango vals its special character. Working with the four major triple time rhythms of vals, we'll explore powerful approaches to dance valses with lyrical dynamics and suspenseful intensity. $100

WEDNESDAYS  (Studio 3)
7:00 - 8:30 PM   INTENSIVE FUNDAMENTALS 
Social tango essentials: posture, partner connection, musicality and basic figures. 
Basic figures include walks, rock steps, crosses, runs, ochos, simple turns and transition between the parallel and cross systems. Progressive exercises will help facilitate comfort and movement versatility within the tango embrace. For new beginners, as well as for experienced dancers who want to strengthen fundamental skills, connect well in close embrace or learn the other gender role.  $120
