Tango Dancers of the Modern Revival, 1980's & 1990's
Video Lecture with Daniel Trenner

This is an eyewitness account of tango’s re-emergence as a modern dance, including the impact of tango’s major figures. We will watch full length exhibitions of famous stage dancers, influential milongueros, revival generation teachers, and the first protagonists of the Nuevo Style.

Daniel is a tango historian. Come find out specifics about where and how tango came to life again! Bring questions and puzzlements!

In 2010, Blue Tango hosted Daniel's "Tango: History and Mythology" to great interest and acclaim. This new presentation is both a continuation of the conversation, and also stands alone for those who did not attend.
