Music
Seminar for Tango Dancers (From
Ramiro)
This seminar was especially conceived for all those
who wish to enrich their dance, by acquiring a freedom
and precision to interpret the music. It is the result
of a long analytical process comparing my development
as a musician and as a dancer.
We will consider the following subjects:
- musical theory
- the rhythmic, harmonic and melodic study
of tango, milonga & vals and their application
to dance
- study of the important tango orchestras:
musical characteristics and their relationship with
dance
- musical investigation of adornments and dibujos.
This seminar is a dynamic class that is realized by
dancing. You will be learning and applying theoretical
concepts to your dance. This allows you to deepen
your personal search for your own musicality. The
class will employ specific exercises, specially prepared
recordings, and choreographic resources. The final
objective is to make the music a place of encounter
in the dance of the couple.
